Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive delivery strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and client expectations.
- Refine and optimize the delivery process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers and service leaders. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the delivery organization.
- Oversee the management of projects from initiation to closure.
- Ensure that product and project deliveries are planned, executed, and monitored effectively, meeting scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, expectations, and feedback.
- Act as a point of escalation for any delivery-related concerns and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, design, and sales, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Ensure that projects are delivered with minimal impact on quality and timelines.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project delivery, such as on-time delivery, quality, client satisfaction, and team productivity. Regularly report on these metrics to senior management.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and best practice adoption.
- Lead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and implement improvements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A proven track record of at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing project delivery in a product and services company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong background in project management methodologies (SAFe, Agile, Scrum, etc.) and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated aptitude for managing complex projects and navigating challenges.
- Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Expertise in project management tools and software especially JIRA, Confluence, Miro etc.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients or attend company events.
